It is the amount that we have raised from private donors and from the charity event. It makes up more than one-third of the whole project. With your support, we are making a real difference, as you always see on our website. The construction will be ready just after few moves. We are raising more funds and completing the design with our best effort. So let’s keep up with our good work, spread the word and call for help.

We soon notice that, without a sponsor organization, all steps are more difficult. When we call to embassies, when we post the posters, when we send emails, people keep asking “Where are you from?”. MST recently, the Centre of International Development at Hanoi University of Agriculture has joined the project as a guarantor and organizer. With this “big name”, the project now can go far on grant applications, NGOs contacting, and general communication. The Centre will also support in technical training programs as planned in the project.

Newsletter Ta Phin – Sapa – Vietnam Project

Dear All,

We would like to clarify that this Project is a Private Project which is managed mainly by two persons (Linh & Viviana). Please be confirmed that this project does not depends on any organization or institution, both financially and managerial. All the donations were from private donors and one charity event in Hanoi until now.

A good new this month is the confirmation of a new sponsor, Focus On Women agency is not only supporting the Project financially but also visiting the Project in their trips to Vietnam.  A Charity Event will be organized in June in Madrid to raise donations for several projects including this one.
